ICP generator: a draft ideal customer profile from your website

Paste your company's website. Audyense reads the page and drafts an ideal customer profile you can check and edit: which companies, which people, what pains, what events make them buy now, and who to skip.

Example: the profile it drafts for audyense.com

Audyense audyense.com

A first line built on a trigger

“Saw you're hiring your first AE. Before they start, it helps to have a list of companies already showing a reason to buy.”

A draft from one page, so it's an informed guess. Check it against your best five customers before you build a list on it.

What an ideal customer profile is for

An ideal customer profile (ICP) describes the companies most likely to buy from you, and the people inside them who feel the problem. It is the filter you put in front of every list, search and message.

A good ICP is narrow enough that a stranger could look at a company and say yes or no in a few seconds. "B2B companies" fails that test. "B2B software companies with 11 to 200 employees, selling to sales teams, that just hired their first RevOps person" passes it.

What the generator fills in

Company fit: industry, size, location and stage. The people: the champion who feels the pain, the person who signs the budget, and the titles to search for. Pains, in the buyer's words. Buying triggers: events you can see from outside, like a hire, a new leader or a funding round. Hiring signals: the roles a company posts when it has the problem you solve. And who to skip, with the reason.

It reads only the page you give it. It doesn't invent customer names, prices or numbers, and anything the page doesn't make clear is left for you to fill.

How to check the draft

Take your five best customers, the ones who bought quickly and stayed. Does each of them match the profile? If two don't, the profile is wrong, not the customers. Then take two deals you lost or customers who left. The "skip these" list should explain them.

Then tighten one thing at a time: a narrower size band, fewer titles, one industry instead of four. A smaller list that replies beats a big list that doesn't.

Questions people ask

Is the ICP generator free?

Yes. You can draft up to five profiles a day without an account. A website drafted in the last two weeks is shown again instantly.

What's the difference between an ICP and a buyer persona?

An ICP describes the company: industry, size, stage and situation. A buyer persona describes a person inside it: their role, goals and objections. You need the ICP first to know which companies to look at, then the persona to know who to talk to there.

What do you do with the website I paste?

Audyense reads that one public page, drafts the profile and keeps the draft so the same website isn't read twice in two weeks. It doesn't store your address; it keeps a one-way code of it to apply the daily limit.

Can it find the companies that match?

Inside Audyense, yes. The free trial turns your profile into your first 25 prospects, starting with companies showing a dated buying signal such as an open job posting for the problem you solve.
