Privacy notice

You can connect an email inbox (Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, or any other mailbox that supports IMAP), a LinkedIn account and a WhatsApp number, so that messages you approve in Audyense are sent from your own accounts. Accounts are connected through Unipile, a company that provides these connections to Audyense as our processor: you sign in to Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn, or link WhatsApp, on a page Unipile hosts, and for an IMAP mailbox you give your mailbox password to Unipile, never to Audyense. Audyense receives only an identifier for the connected account. Some inboxes were connected directly with Google or Microsoft before October 2026; those connections involve no other company. Either way, Audyense uses permission to send on your behalf and to see when someone replies to something you sent from Audyense.

We use this access only to send the emails you write and approve in Audyense, one at a time, and to mark those emails as replied or bounced. To spot a reply, Audyense checks which recent messages belong to a conversation you started from Audyense, and for those messages only, who sent them and the subject line. It never reads, stores or uses any other email in your mailbox. For a reply we keep only that it happened and when, and for a bounce only the address that bounced. Nothing from your mailbox is used for advertising, sold, used to train or improve AI models, or read by people at Audyense, except with your permission, to investigate abuse or a security issue, or when the law requires it.

For LinkedIn and WhatsApp, Audyense is told when a new message arrives in a connected account, or when someone accepts a LinkedIn connection request, and records only whether it came from a person you contacted through Audyense, and when. It never stores the text of messages you receive, and messages from anyone else are ignored. To keep these connections working, Unipile syncs new mail and messages in connected accounts on its servers and processes them only to provide this service to Audyense. Data from your accounts is not shared with anyone else. Account access is stored encrypted and never sent to your browser.

If Audyense does not have permission to read your Gmail, you can instead set up a Gmail filter that forwards to Audyense only the messages that contain your personal Audyense code. Every email you send from Audyense carries that code in its unsubscribe link, so the filter matches replies and bounces that quote one of those emails, and nothing else in your mailbox. A forwarded message is received on Audyense's own servers, read only for who sent it and which Audyense email it quotes (and, once, Gmail's forwarding confirmation code, so you can finish the setup), and then deleted; unread copies are deleted automatically within three days. You can turn this off at any time by deleting the filter or the forwarding address in Gmail.

Open and click tracking is on by default and can be turned off in Settings → Connections. When it is on, an email you send through Audyense carries a tiny image and its links pass through Audyense on the way, so we can show you whether it was opened and whether a link was clicked. For this we record only the time and count of those events; we do not keep the recipient's IP address, location or device details, and the results are shown only to you. Hits that look automated (for example Apple Mail's privacy protection or a company's security scanner) are counted separately. As the sender, you are responsible for telling recipients about tracking where the law requires it, for example in the UK and the EU.

You can disconnect any account at any time in Settings → Connections, which ends the connection at Unipile (or, for an inbox connected directly, deletes the access Audyense was given and, for Google, revokes it). You can also remove access from your Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn security settings, or log out the linked device in WhatsApp. Deleting your Audyense account disconnects every account first.

Audyense's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
