SEO, AEO and GEO: getting your website found by people and by AI
Search engines, answer engines and AI assistants read your site differently. What each one needs, how Audyense scans for all three, and how to turn the findings into a fix list you actually finish.

A few years ago "being found" meant ranking on a search results page. It now also means being the answer a search engine shows above the results, and being the source an AI assistant cites when someone asks it what to use. Those are three different readers of your website, and they want different things. Audyense's SEO workspace scans for all three and turns what it finds into work you can actually finish.
Three readers, three sets of needs
- SEO, search fundamentals: can crawlers reach and understand your pages? Titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, canonical URLs, sitemap, robots, page speed signals. This is the floor; if it is broken nothing else matters.
- AEO, answer structure: when someone asks a direct question, is there a passage on your site that answers it plainly enough to be lifted into a featured answer? Clear question-shaped headings, concise first paragraphs, structured data.
- GEO, machine readability: can an AI assistant extract what your product is, who it is for and what it costs without guessing? Consistent naming, factual claims with evidence, an llms.txt, content that does not depend on JavaScript to exist.
What a scan does
Under SEO you give Audyense your public website. It discovers pages from your sitemap and navigation, honours your robots.txt, and scans up to 500 public HTML pages. Each page is checked against the three sets of rules above and the results roll up into a health score out of 100, with a breakdown per category and a list of issues ordered by how much they matter. Scans are HTML only, so they will not execute JavaScript; if a page's content only exists after scripts run, the scan will tell you that too, because so will most crawlers.
A fix list you can finish
Every issue carries a severity, a plain explanation and a points value. Fix it, and the next scan verifies the fix and awards the points; your score moves because the site changed, not because you ticked a box. For work a scan cannot verify, like a content rewrite, you can record it as done manually and it is tracked separately so your automated score stays honest.
Scan history is kept, so you can see the score over time and which fixes moved it. A scan costs twenty credits. Weekly automatic scans are optional; most teams run one after each batch of fixes instead.
Keywords from real data, not guesses
Connect a Google Search Console property that matches your site and the workspace adds keyword opportunities from your actual query data: what people already search to find you, which pages get impressions without clicks, and suggested target pages. Product keywords from your audience profile are shown too, clearly marked as research rather than measured demand, so you never mistake a guess for a number.
How to work it
- Scan once and fix the search fundamentals first. Broken canonicals and missing titles are cheap to fix and everything else depends on them.
- Then take the answer-structure issues on your three most important pages. Rewrite the first paragraph to answer the question the page exists for.
- Then the machine-readability items. These are usually small: consistent product naming, a fact stated plainly instead of implied, evidence for a claim.
- Re-scan, watch the score, and repeat with the next three pages.
