Overview
LooperTask is a kanban board built for teams where AI coding agents do real work alongside people. Connect any MCP client — Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline — with a single mcp.json file, and agents claim tasks straight off your board, do the work on your own machine, and report back. Your source code never leaves your laptop: only task text crosses the wire. Humans stay in control with agent-lockable columns, task dependencies and a per-task audit log of every action an agent took.
The problem LooperTask solves
Engineering teams now run AI coding agents every day, but their tracker was built for humans only: work gets dictated in a chat window, context is lost between sessions, and nobody can see what an agent actually changed or why. Leads are stuck choosing between letting agents run unsupervised and babysitting every prompt.
