Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform (the current name for what was Teradata Vantage / VantageCloud) is an enterprise data-and-AI platform combining a massively parallel SQL engine, in-database analytics, a vector store, and autonomous AI agents on one connected data foundation. It runs as Teradata Cloud (on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), on-premises via Teradata Factory, or in hybrid/sovereign configurations. Teradata Corporation was founded in 1979 and spun off as an independent public company again in 2007 after operating as an NCR/AT&T division.
